Tobelos, Bodegas y Viñedos


The Tobelos Bodega y Viñedos project was born in the last decade of the twentieth century from the concerns of its main promoter Ricardo Reinoso, a deep connoisseur of the world of wine after directing several wineries.


This project leads to the discovery of a privileged place where you can locate your winery, an avant-garde construction that breaks with the classic aesthetics of the wineries in the area.

Location


Tobelos Bodegas y Viñedos is located in Briñas, 2 km from Haro, in one of the areas with the greatest La Rioja wine tradition.


Located on a hill surrounded by the Ebro River, at the foot of the Sierra Cantabria and from which we enjoy beautiful views of the Obarenes mountains, the Shells of Haro and the Riscos de Bilibio.


Vineyard


Its vineyards are located in Briñas, Labastida and San Vicente de la Sonsierra. This area enjoys a fresh and unique microclimate in La Rioja. The main quality factors are calcareous clay soils, which give low yields and better grapes, and the northern breeze in summer, which cools the grapes and keeps them healthy.


Also the age of the vineyard, strains of 20 to 90 years produce higher quality grapes.The vintage plays a decisive role in the process of making these great wines. Therefore, the obsession with quality in Tobelos Wineries and Vineyards, begins at the time of collection.


The vineyards settle on land around the winery, where traditional viticulture of small plots has been practiced, with manual green pruning: sperm, bare, with manual harvest.


The clusters are deposited manually in boxes of 20 kilos in order to arrive intact at the selection tables.
