Color and Appearance: En fase visual muestra una importante capa de tonos cardenal oscuro y morados. Se muestra limpio y brillante.
Nose / Aroma: En nariz se percibe una notable complejidad de primarios, de frutas rojas maduras de la gama de la fresa y la frambuesa, bien ensamblados con especiados terciarios de crianza, destacando aromas café, regaliz y vainilla.

Bodega Matarromera

Bodegas Matarromera are found right in the heart of the Ribera de Duero. Its facilities are partially buried in the north hillside of the Duero Valley with beautiful views that towers above the whole valley of the municipal district of Valbuena de Duero in Valladolid. Matarromera is born with clear international successes and keeps on wining most prestigious awards and recognition already enjoyed over its whole business development. Bodegas Matarromera applies a superb technology for best quality winemaking. It also incorporates a temperature-control and stainless steel vats and equipments. Bodegas Matarromera winemaking capacity reaches 650,000 litres.

Viñedo

Most of its 80 hectares of vines are Tinto Fino variety, with a small proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. All the vines are situated in the best terroirs around Olivares and Valbuena de Duero.

In keeping with the wine-making tradition of his ancestors, Carlos Moro decided, in 1988 to renovate the vines, and built a new cellar, where top quality Crianzas, Reservas and Gran Reservas are now being developed.
