It all begins more than a century ago, in 1918, when Vinícola Morales was created in Manzaneque, Toledo. For almost 100 years, the winery's wine production was destined for almost exclusively local consumption.
Carlos Galdón, the new owner of Bodegas NOC, promoted a radical transformation incorporating the innovations introduced in the world of wine in the last 20 years. The challenge that was posed was to make the highest quality wines in Spain in Toledo.
This required a new refoundation of the winery.
To improve the management of the vineyards, Julián Palacios, "Vineyard Caretaker", a reference in Spain, is hired. The management of the current vineyards is improved and new plots are beginning to be planted with better varieties and some with experimental varieties.
At Bodegas NOC we know that, only by controlling the entire process, from the vineyard to the bottle, can we achieve excellence. Ignacio de Miguel, a consulting winemaker for years, is appointed General Director of the winery, leading a young but experienced team willing to position Bodegas NOC among the best in Spain.
Their wines are made with grapes from their own vineyards. They grow different red varieties, such as Tempranillo, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah and the white varieties Chardonnay and Viognier. Each of our wines is made with high quality standards.
The winery becomes a wine tourism destination: in addition to a production center of excellence, it is now also a visitor center, with shops, tasting rooms and spaces for all types of events, with capacity for more than a thousand people.
Bodegas NOC has just been born and is already one of the most exclusive wineries in Spain.
