Can Sumoi


The challenge of Can Sumoi is to elaborate natural wines that reflect their origin, recovering the traditions to peasants and without any type of oenological additive.


Can Sumoi consists of a main cellar with three farmhouses from the beginning of the 17th century. From a corral, 20 hectares of planted vineyards of Parellada, Sumoll and Xarel·lo and 380 hectares of forest.


Can Sumoi's viticultural passion is to produce natural wines with origin and accompany them on their way, obtaining a true reflection of the land where they are born, with minimal intervention in their viticulture and winemaking processes.


Location


Can Sumoi is an agricultural estate since 1645 and is located in the Montmell massif, 600 meters high.


Soils


The soils of the farm correspond to the Montmell Formation; composed of sediments formed between 100 and 113 million years ago from the Cretaceous period.


Vineyard


20 hectares of planted vineyards of Parellada, Sumoll and Xarel·lo.
