Teodoro Recio

A family winery with its own vineyards located in La Seca (Valladolid, Spain) in the heart of Denominación de Origen Rueda.

Following the family tradition of cultivation of the vineyard dating back to 1948 with the founder Teodoro Recio, grandfather of the current owners, knowledge of tillage and care of the vineyards have been passed from generation to generation, thus obtaining a healthy and strong vineyard giving rise to a few grapes of great excellence.

Teodoro Recio philosophy is: best land, the best grapes, best verdejo white wine is born. Its vineyards for more than 30 years, are differentiated in three Pagos; boat Briones, Mace and Montepedroso.

Techniques of care of these lands are rigorously applied, according to the tradition of family wineries Teodoro Recio and helped with the best techniques of maintenance, drip irrigation and collection mechanism. They perform a night harvest, preventing the oxidation of musts, which are especially care and selected, to guarantee the quality of their wines.
