Color and Appearance:	Red not too intense, medium layer, marked by the Pinot Noir variety found in greater proportion.
Nose / Aroma:	Mature fruits predominate and the varietals, especially, the tempranillo, which in smaller percentage and with those own touches of the fruit, perfectly assembled, with the oak and that has left a trace of toast, balsamic, etc.
Mouth / Flavors:	It is easy to drink, because of the expression left by the Pinot Noir and the sweetness of tempranillo, in notorious harmony. The tannic aspect is very polished, which makes it even more pleasant, inviting to continue tasting.
Recommendations:	Temperature: 15 - 17º C

Location

Alta Pavina is located in an estate located in the municipality of La Parrilla (Valladolid), at an altitude of 1,000 meters.

This zone of páramos of frank-calcareous soil on the Ribera del Duero, offers a continental climate with few precipitations and notable contrasts of temperature.

Some wines with a strong personality need to be born in a special area, as in the Pago de la Pavina estate.

Vineyard

The fruit of constant work.

The vineyard that surrounds Bodegas Alta Pavina has an area of 35 hectares and is made up of two grape varieties: Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.
