Color and Appearance: Picota Cherry Red with a high layer, violet, clean and bright. proper tear.
Nose / Aroma: Very intense on the nose, very fruity. Berries, black currant, strawberries and raspberries. Complex, it opens up when shaken showing aromas of cocoa and chocolate.

Mark Schiettekat began producing wines in Spain for his clients in 2000. Bodegas RAICES IBERICAS was born from his hand in 2020 to give an adequate response to the widely shared idea about Spanish wines: Spain has the greatest and most interesting development potential today in day:

Based in Calatayud, in the Maluenda winery, the company manages the production and marketing of various products, made mainly from vineyards located between Zaragoza and Cuenca.

Winemaker, after training in wineries such as San Alejandro de Calatayud, Santa Rita in Chile and Bodegas Salentein in Argentina. Today it is part of Mark's project, Raíces Ibéricas. 

They bought an old cooperative in 2020 in the town of Maluenda in the heart of the Aragon province. It was renovated in accordance with modern production standards. With a total capacity of 5.6 million kilos, our allows to vinify, age and store various profiles of wines in optimal conditions. 

With the opportunity to produce individual plot wines separately in small concrete or stainless steel tanks and oak barrels, as well as small experimental batches of forgotten grape varieties.
