More than two centuries of history and learning as olive growers and olive oil producers, combined with a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation, quality, and excellence, have made them global leaders in the premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil sector.

Their parents, Luis Vañó and Rosa María Cañadas, passed on to the three siblings, Francisco, Rosa, and Cristina, their passion for the land and the olive grove. In 2003, Rosa and Francisco, who were then senior executives at multinational companies such as Coca-Cola and Banco de Santander, decided to change their professional paths and fully dedicate themselves to the project of transforming the family business of olive cultivation and olive oil production, which was sold as bulk oil, into a new Canena Castle: a modern company focused on creating a brand of AOVE.
