Color and Appearance:	Intense, bright, lively garnet red color. Edge Cherry red.
Nose / Aroma:	The nose is very intense, with notes of ripe spicy fruit. Aromas of black pepper, sweet licorice, nutmeg coffee, vanilla and cinnamon.
Mouth / Flavors:	Very expressive on the palate, full of flavors. Pleasant acidity. Complex, elegant and powerful aftertaste. Campeador is a wine Timeless with magnificent aging potential.
Recommendations:	Temperature 15 - 17º C

At the end of the 19th century, Haro had a railway station, lights in its streets, vineyards in its surroundings, wine in its houses and a building that housed the headquarters of the Bank of Spain. All this made it a focus of attraction for French winegrowers who had been left without vineyards by powdery mildew and phylloxera, but not without their commercial ability.

In this scenario, the history of Rioja as we know it today begins to be written. And when the first words were written, the Martínez Lacuestas were already there.

Martínez Lacuesta was officially established on February 1, 1895.The entrepreneurial and commercial spirit of Eloy Martínez and the pioneering and restless character of his son Félix Martínez Lacuesta converge.
