Nervi Conterno Gattinara 2020

The Gattinara di Nervi Conterno is produced with Nebbiolo grapes and is aged for 36 months in oak barrels. It is the "base" of the Nebbiolo family produced by the winery, but thanks to its elegance it is certainly a Nebbiolo of the highest quality.

Nervi Conterno Gattinara 2020

CONTERNO NERVI GATTINARA

CONTERNO NERVI GATTINARA

Founded in 1906 Nervi is the oldest winery in Gattinara. A forgotten region of Alto Piemonte at the foot of the Alps with an exceptional terroir.

Altitude, cold climate and soils of volcanic origin rich in minerals, granite and red clay come together creating ideal conditions for the cultivation of Nebbiolo.

Neither as firm as in the hills of Langa, nor as graceful as in Valtellina but always elegant, austere and long-lived. 28.5 hectares owned in the two Grand Crus of the area, Molsino and Valferana, and other historical Crus of interest such as Casacce or Garavoglie.

Since 2018 in the prodigious hands of RobertoConterno, convinced to make Nebbiolo from Gatttinara a world-class wine.
