Color and Appearance:	Clean and bright wine of high intensity with an attractive cherry red color, very lively.
Nose / Aroma:	In nose shows aromatic power, marked varietal character of Mediterranean Monastrell, with aromatic notes of ripe black fruit, in an elegant combination with tertiary aromas from its noble aging in French oak.
Mouth / Flavors:	Of great complexity and multiple mineral nuances. Gémina Finca The Volcano in the mouth exhibits its intense personality, without sacrificing elegance, frank, tasty and with silky structure and texture. Fantastic persistence and fruity memories.

Soils:	Its microclimate and the exceptional minerality of the volcanic soil give the wine a great personality. Very old vines, offering small grapes and very low yields.
Viticulture:	Low yields, but of very high quality, which is reflected in intense wines, with great structure and body on the palate and that reach their zenith in the Monastrell wines of free standing: vineyards that were not affected by the plague of the phylloxera.

BSI has a historical commitment to safeguarding the heritage of the free standing vineyard, cultivating the largest area of pure Monastrell in the world.It belongs to the Protected Designation of Origin of Jumilla, in the Murcian highlands, with clear influence from the Mediterranean.

BSI is one of the engines of socioeconomic growth in Jumilla and a leading social actor. Since its foundation and until today, the families that make up BSI are the guardians of a unique wine-making legacy.

As a result of a joint effort and the union of hundreds of cooperative members, BSI, founded in 1934, has established itself as the main wine products of the D.O.P. Jumilla.

A solid winery that builds its success on the Monastrell variety, with the greatest extension of this Mediterranean grape standing free, and on respect for the environment, innovation and social involvement with the territory.

More than 1,400 hectares of vineyards with an average age of 35 years, planted in glass, the traditional system of the area, and harvested by hand, among which are some of the best vineyards in the D.O.P. Jumilla. Thanks to our weather conditions, a large part of this vineyard is cultivated in an ecological way.

Along with the native Monastrell, we have other varieties such as Syrah, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Tempranillo in reds, or Verdejo, Airén and Sauvignon Blanc in white.Rainfed plantations, with less than 40 days of rainfall a year, extreme temperatures between seasons, 700 meters above sea level, an arid and sunny climate with more than 3,000 hours of sunshine a year and little rainfall, allow ripening. Perfect, low yields and concentration.
